The pH and alkalinity are often found to fall in older marine aquariums. This is caused by increasing acidification as a result of decomposition processes.
The recommended pH of 8.2 – 8.4 and 6° – 10° dKH are usually no longer achieved.
TIMO pH buffer raises the pH to optimum levels, eliminates over-acidification, thus increasing buffer capacity.
Instructions for use:
Check the pH and the KH regularly. If these levels differ substantially from the recommended values, add one measuring spoonful to every 100 litres aquarium water every day. Stir TIMO pH buffer slowly, either directly into the aquarium water or into a strong current. Do not use any other calcium additives when using this product.
