Use as feed for filter feeders:
Also suitable for single application. Put some spirulina powder in a glass tumbler and add some water from the tank. Now let it soak for a while. The spirulina eventually settles at the bottom. Then quickly stir the mixture and add it into the stream. After the spirulina algae have settled in the glass tumbler, observe the upper water level. You can clearly see a blue haze which is absent in many cheap products.

Note: Highly pure spirulina powder can stain strongly. These stains are very difficult to remove from textiles.
